Terms
under which goods are accepted for auction/sale.

Vendors
must submit a written description of each individual lot to be
entered into the auction. This description should be submitted
to Dore & Rees,
with the items before the relevant auction deadline date.

During
the period the goods are held in our salerooms, Dore
& Rees do not accept any responsibility whatsoever,
for any loss, however caused/occasioned (Except destruction by
fire); nor for any breakages or deterioration of any items held
on the premises.
- Dore
& Rees do not undertake removal of goods to/from
the Salerooms, but will, at the request of buyers/sellers, arrange
for a carrier at the buyers/sellers expense. The buyers/sellers
are fully respsonsible for arranging all insurance cover for their
goods whilst held at the salerooms, or in transit by carrier whether
arranged
by the buyer/seller or by request via Dore
& Rees.
- The
Dore & Rees auction
commissions are charged as follows:
A) - Sale commission at the rate of 15% in the £
on the sale price achieved.
B) - Lotting and porterage charge of £2.00 per lot.
C) - Lots subject to a reserve price, and unsold, attract a commission
of 5% of the reserve price.
D) - VAT will be charged at the current rate where applicable.
- All
goods are sold on an "As Seen" basis.
- Dore
& Rees reserve the right to sell by private treaty,
any lots remaining unsold following a sale.
- Dore
& Rees reserve the right to refuse any items
for inclusion in their auction, if in their opinion, the items are
unsaleable.

lots will be sold without reserve, unless prior arrangements have
been made in writing with Dore &
Rees.
